Amy Jensen won three consecutive NCAA doubles titles – two with Amanda Augustus in 1988 and 1999 and one with Claire Curran in 2000. The Augustus-Jensen tandem was the first to win back-to-back NCAA doubles titles. A five-time All-American, Jensen also claimed one All-Pac-10 First-Team spot and one second-team selection. After college, she played professionally, including competing in three U.S. Opens and one Australian Open. Jensen is now in her first season as the head coach at UC Santa Cruz, after previously serving as head coach at Mills College and Denver and as an assistant coach at Cal. Jensen also provided color commentary on the Pac-12 Networks’ broadcasts of Cal’s wins over Florida and Stanford at the Hellman Tennis Complex this year.
