A Dozen Roses = A Dozen Perfect Tosses
Release your toss in your fingertips, like a rose opens up its petals. Don't have the ball sitting in the palm of your hand on the ball toss, rather move it to the first knuckle in your fingers, which is on the fingertips. "Place" or "Put" the ball in the air, don't "Toss" it. The ball will hardly have any spin on it when you place it into the air, which will give you more power. It's easier to hit a ball with no spin on it, then one that is spinning like a top. Last tip, release the ball at eye level, called "eye high." If you release the ball above your head the toss will go too far behind you, if you release the toss too early it will be too far in front of you. Release the ball at "eye high" and open your fingertips like a rose opening up.
